THE NEED: RESPONSIVE COMMERCE

CosmoProf is the number one supplier of beauty supply products for professional salon owners . They needed to revamp their online commerce presence and we were tasked with the transformation. I lead the ux and design team in the creation of fully responsive experience making it as easy to navigate and purchase goods on small, medium and large screens.

USER RESEARCH:  INSIGHTS DRIVEN DESIGN
To prepare for the experience we spent several weeks doing primary research with salon owners and managers.  The interviews resulted in unique key insights such as the need for quick orders and search by SKU, and the need for seamless experience from mobile, web and call center support.

 

THE PROCESS: SALESFORCE INTEGRATION AND AGILE

Using Salesforce Commerce as the initial platform, we delivered the experience through intimate and daily collaboration between the BA, Product, Design, UX and Development disciplines. This collaboration resulted in an iterative and well vetted process that identified gaps and opportunities for efficiency throughout the sprint cycles.,
